Aviation H2 is launching its Series C Capital Raise next week, via the online trading platform PrimaryMarkets, to finance the next stage of building Australia’s first hydrogen-powered plane due to be in the skies in 2023.
The company will use the funds to build test beds so they can convert trial engines to hydrogen, which will allow them to find the optimal conversion method.
Once the trials are complete, the company will implement their model on a Dassault Falcon 50 jet plane and begin running test flights.
After showcasing their successful proof of concept, Aviation H2 will have a patentable method for modifying aircraft so they operate on carbon-free fuel.
Following this, they will seek to certify and commercialise this product via a planned public listing on a major exchange in Q4 of 2023.
