Aviation H2’s Director, Dr Helmut Mayer, has been invited to be a speaker at the 3rd International Hydrogen Aviation Conference in Glasgow on 1st September 2022.
The invitation confirms Aviation H2’s position as a global leader in the development of hydrogen technologies to decarbonise the aviation industry.
In his speech, Helmut will outline how he plans to have Australia’s first hydrogen-powered plane in the sky in 2025, through anhydrous ammonia.
Once the engine testing is complete, the company will implement their model on a Dassault Falcon 50 jet plane and begin running test flights.
After showcasing their successful proof of concept, Aviation H2 will have a patentable method for modifying aircraft so they operate on carbon-free fuel. Following this, they will seek to certify and commercialise this product.
